Rental Policies
At the time of vehicle rental, you will be required to sign a Rental Agreement that may include additional policies or details. To rent a vehicle from Athens Ford, you must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver?s license, and have a valid major credit card.
Reservation Policy
Reservations may be made up to 6 months in advance. Some vehicles and/or dates may require a non-refundable deposit.
Fuel Policy
All vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel the vehicle has in it at the time of pick up. If the vehicle is not returned with the same amount of fuel, the refueling charge is $4.00 a gallon.
Insurance
Proof of full-coverage insurance is required at time of rental.
Smoking Policy
All Athens Ford vehicles are non-smoking and renters should not smoke in them. An additional cleaning fee of $250.00 will be automatically deducted if a vehicle is returned in a condition where it needs to be cleaned or deodorized due to smoking.
